Relieve some stress with exercise at 24-hour fitness

The 24-Hour Fitness Center at Hwy 517 and Hwy 45 (west side) is opening its doors to the general public impacted by Hurricane Ike through September 30th. There are no usage fees if you show your UTMB ID badge.

It is our understanding that all the 24-Hour Fitness Centers all around the area have the same policy – but some are not yet open and some have limited hours. The 24-Hour Fitness Center at Hwys 517 & 45 is fully open and has a supervised children’s day care area while you are working out.

Free weights and/or aerobic equipment are great ways to relieve stress – or, simply relax in the swimming pool, the whirl pool, or the wet and dry saunas
