IMH Happenings9/5/2006The Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences has selected several of our students to receive scholarships and awards this year. The recipients are selected by either the Restricted Scholarship Awards Committee or the Unrestricted Scholarship Awards Committee after a careful review of all nominations. The presentations will be made at the Annual Scholarship Awards Luncheon on October 6, 2006. • Chester R. Burns Institute for the Medical Humanities Alumni Award: Angie Scott (Advisor: Anne Hudson Jones) • William Bennett Bean Scholarship in the Medical Humanities: Julie Kutac (Advisor: Ronald A. Carson) • Medical Humanities Endowed Scholarship: Nobue Urushihara Urvil (Advisor: Anne Hudson Jones) • Dean's Service Award: Bernadette McKinney (Advisor: William J. Winslade)
