Congratulations to Dr. Anne Hudson Jones on being selected by the IMH graduate students as the recipient of this year's Medical Humanities Graduate Program Excellence in Teaching Award. This is the second year in a row that Dr. Jones has received the award. This award was initiated last year by the GSBS to recognize a faculty member in each graduate program for teaching excellence, for outstanding contributions to the graduate program, and for exceptional mentoring.

As a student body, our graduate students are asked to work together to submit their nominations for this award and then choose the recipient by a majority of votes. Each recipient is presented a certificate, and our program is provided with a permanent plaque that will have the name of each recipient added each year.
