Dr. Heather Wooten was recently chosen as Employee of the Quarter at the Helen Hall Library in League City, TX where she works as a History Librarian. Heather did all the research for the Fallen Heroes Memorial which was recently dedicated. The memorial honors nine League City residents who gave their lives in service to our country.

Heather graduated in 2006 with a Ph.D. in medical humanities and the title of her dissertation was "The Polio Years in Harris and Galveston Counties: 1930-1962." Dr. Harold Vanderpool was her advisor.
