After a successful run that spanned five decades, the final Impact was published in January 2020.  Impact was UTMB Health’s employee newsletter. It evolved from a one color printed tabloid newspaper to a full color magazine with a digital component. We’ve archived the past several years on these pages for your review and enjoyment.

About Impact

Impact is the official UTMB newsletter, for and about the people who fulfill UTMB’s mission to improve health in Texas and around the world.

The newsletter first debuted on Jan. 21, 1977, as a biweekly publication. It went online only in 2009 and was brought back in print in July 2015 in response to employee feedback. Today, Impact is published monthly and features online content that is continuously updated between publications. In every issue, you’ll find stories about the amazing work taking place across the state, whether in health care, research or education, and the numerous accomplishments of our people who make UTMB such a special place to work.
