Welcome to Galveston!
The Division of Infectious Diseases is in the Marvin Graves Building, with additional
offices and
laboratories on the 4th and 5th floors of the adjacent Mary Moody Northern Building. The Marvin Graves and the Mary Moody Northern Buildings are located on
the west end of the UTMB campus.

Houston Hobby Airport is 41 miles northwest of Galveston island and Houston
Intercontinental Airport is 68 miles northwest of Galveston.
Take Interstate 45 south from Houston. Continue over the causeway to
Galveston Island. Route 45 then becomes Broadway which can be taken to
14th
street. Turn left and travel to the Strand street and turn right.
Continue
straight to Texas Avenue (Strand street becomes Texas Ave). The
Graves
Building, pictured above, will be directly to your left.
If you need to park, public parking is available
in a covered lot just behind the
building (parking
Garage 2).
To park, turn left
(north, alongside Mary Moody Northen) on 11th street and
then right, and right
again at the stop sign. The entrance will be in front of you
to your left.
