The City of Galveston and UTMB’s island-based facilities are in recovery mode after impact from Hurricane Ike. Access to the UTMB campus remains restricted and most of the routine patient care at the Galveston campus has been suspended until services can be restored. However, many of UTMB’s mainland-based clinics are open to serve patients during this time of crisis and need.
