Personal Overview

Dr. Lieberman oversees UTMB's medical student education program. He has served in many educational capacities and received local and statewide recognition for his educational work from students and peers. In addition to his educational leadership at UTMB, he serves as Director of the UT System-wide Innovations in Health Science Education Program. He continues to see general endocrinology patients and has a special interest in pituitary disorders.

The department of internal medicine is developing evidence based clinical protocols which will be available in EPIC (as order sets) for use when admitting patients with these diagnoses. Their AIM is to standardize care and decrease length of stay and readmission rates.
