Preparing for Fellowship

Here at UTMB, the support our residents receive in seeking a fellowship is unparalleled. Those seeking specialty training are identified early in coordination with the Resident Research Group, and faculty mentors in their chosen field are assigned to help guide them through research, elective rotations, and specialty ward months.

At UTMB we offer the full spectrum of medical subspecialty training, with consult services for all and specialty inpatient ward teams for several specialties, including Hematology/Oncology, Gastroenterology, Geriatrics, Infectious Disease, and Cardiology.
