Strategic Executive Council
Roles and Responsibilities of the Strategic Executive Council:
The SEC provides advice and counsel to the President to help assure
effective local governance for UTMB. The SEC helps the President set the
course and direction for UTMB, facilitates goal-setting and policy-making
for the institution and its components, tracks progress and performance
related to strategic goals, and oversees stewardship of resources. The SEC
also facilitates and coordinates communication about priorities, goals,
programs and initiatives, and works to enhance the public image of UTMB
within and beyond the institution.
