Making My Day Being Present
Being Playful Choosing a Great Attitude
The Logistics FISH! Award Program is a way to reward those who demonstrate one or more of the four FISH! Philosophies, and by so doing contribute positively to the team and to our customers:
- Choose to make today a great day at work.
- Stay focused in order to be present when your customers and team members most need you.
- Find someone who needs a helping hand, a word of support, or a good ear – and make their day.
- Find ways to play – we can be serious about our work without being serious about ourselves.
Who may participate:
- All Logistics employees and contract laborers.
How it works:
- Fill out a FISH Thank You card and present to a Logistics coworker to recognize him or her for putting one of the FISH! Philosophies into practice.
- Turn all cards you receive in to your supervisor to participate in the quarterly drawing. It takes as little as one card to participate.
- A quarterly drawing will be held at a BUCC (Business Unit Coordination Council) meeting.
- Five winners will be drawn each quarter from the cards brought to the BUCC meeting.
- Winners will have their names posted on the Wall of Honor on the Logistics Employee page.
- Winners will receive meal tickets which can be redeemed at any of the UTMB food locations.
FISH! Award drawing rules:
- Card recipients must turn their cards in to participate.
- All cards turned in by the drawing date are eligible.
- Recipients who submit more than one card has more chances, but can win only once per drawing.
- Five names will be drawn each quarterly drawing.
