Recognition for Retirement is based on years of service according to the limitations presented below
Limitations: Guidelines are subject to available funding and spending approval. If more than one person retires within the same time period invitations should be consolidated into one retirement party. Reference Fiscal Policy 4.4.2 Official Function Expenditures for information on spending limits. Gifts are selected by the retiree and purchased from the suggested source. Gifts in amounts of $50 and higher must be given as part of a meaningful presentation during the reception for the retiree. The upper tax-free limit on gifts is $400 for this type of recognition. Definitions: Years of service - employee must have served these years in UT System Recognition for Length of Service to Logistics when employee is resigning from Logistics but not retiring
