Surplus property in the University of Texas Medical Branch Surplus Property Warehouse is available at no charge for transfer to departments.
Some UTMB surplus in the Surplus Property Warehouse may be viewed online at:

http://www.e-surplus.com

All surplus items can be viewed in person at the warehouse each Friday from 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. If the open house times are not convenient, please call us for an appointment.

Items of interest may be “tagged” until proper signatures are obtained and arrangements are made to transport the item from the Surplus Property Warehouse. Tagged items remaining in the Surplus Property Warehouse beyond five days will revert to surplus and will be available for selection by another department.

Departments and UT System components will have priority selection privileges over local Texas Independent School Districts (ISD’s), and non-profit organizations.

Surplus Property personnel will prepare a Surplus Equipment Warehouse Inventory Transfer-out Form for the items chosen from surplus. The receiving department’s employee must sign this form before the items are moved from the Surplus Property Warehouse.

Our Delivery team will schedule and deliver the items, or departments may transport the items themselves.
