Collection: Routine venipuncture; peak or trough
levels may be used to monitor therapy. Collect the sample immediately before the dose for
a trough level and 2-4 hours after the dose for a peak level.
Storage Instructions: Store blood at 2-8°C.
Centrifuge the specimen within 4 hours of collection, remove the serum from the red cells
and refrigerate.
