CSF: Albumin, IgG, IgA, IgM, IgG Index, High Resolution Electrophoresis and interpretation Lab: Immunochemistry Request Form: Clinical Immunology Collection: Routine venipuncture; CSF - routine lumbar puncture Storage Instructions: Prefer prompt delivery. Blood - seperate serum from cells and refrigerate. CSF - refrigerate. Causes for Rejection: Gross hemolysis, lipemic serum Availability: Samples are received 24 hours per day at Sample Management, Room 5.138, McCullough. Turnaround Time: Routine: 48 hours; test is performed Monday - Friday Special Instructions: Blood sample is always require in conjunctin with CSF requrest and must be collected within 24 hours of each other.
