Test Includes: Amphetamine/Methamphetamine; positive screen by Emit confirmed by GCMS

Lab: Clinical Chemistry

Request Form: Special Chemistry Form 2.

Collection: Random urine.

Storage Instructions: To store samples longer than 3 days, keep refrigerated at 2-8°C.

Availability: Samples are received 24 hours per day at Sample Management, Room 5.136 McCullough.

Turnaround Time: Negative Screen: 24 hours; Positive Screen: 48 hours

Special Instructions: Indicate suspected drug(s) if possible. Possible legal case must follow the chain of custody protocol and are not performed STAT. Confirmation testing is performed only on samples with a positive screen result.
