iontophoresis (chemical stimulation)

Minimum Volume: 15 µL
Reference Ranges: Normal range is less than 40 mEq
Cl/L sweat. Patients with results above 40 should have repeat collections. Value greater
than 80 mEq Cl/L sweat is an abnormal value and is compatible with Cystic Fibrosis and
other diseases known to be associated with high Sweat Chloride result.
