Storage Instructions: Centrifuge the specimen, remove serum from cells. Store serum at 2-8 °C for up to 24 hours. If delivery to the lab is delayed for more than 24 hours, freeze serum at 20C. Causes for Rejection: Hemolysis, improperly labeled and blood collected in any anticoagulated tube. Availability: Samples are received 24 hours per day at Sample Management, Room 5.136 McCullough.
