Storage Instructions: Refrigerate at 2-8°C.

Causes for Rejection: Contamination with mineral oil.

Availability: Samples are received 24 hours per day at Sample Management, 5.136 McCullough.

Turnaround Time: Routine: 4 hours; STAT: 1 hour

Special Instructions: Indicate source of fluid on request form.

Volume: 2 mL

Minimum Volume: 1 mL

Container: Plain, red-topped tube or plastic container with screw-top lid

Reference Ranges: 6.8 - 7.6
