Collection:   Routine venipuncture

Storage Instructions:   Store at room temperature (18-22°C). DO NOT REFRIGERATE.

Cause For Rejection:   Clotted, QNS, hemolysis, identification error, specimen refrigerated, specimens received on weekend and holidays, specimen received after noon cut off on Fridays.

Availability:   Samples are accepted in Sample Management, 5.136 McCullough,
Monday-Thursday (8AM-5PM). Friday cut-off time is noon.

Turnaround Time:   48 hours

Minimum Volume:   1 ml

Container:   EDTA (Lavender-top tube); pediatric tube acceptable
