Availability: Samples are accepted 24 hours per day at the Microbiology Processing Laboratory, Room 5.137 McCullough.

Turnaround Time: Cultures are held 3 weeks. Positive results are reported upon recognition.

Special Instructions: Add several drops of sterile saline to tissue specimen after collection. Antifungal susceptibility is performed only with approval by Infectious disease Faculty.
