Storage Instructions: Refrigerate and transport to the laboratory as soon as possible.

Causes for Rejection: Specimens older than 24 hours

Availability: Samples are accepted 24 hours per day at the Microbiology Processing Laboratory, Room 5.137 McCullough.

Turnaround Time: 2 days; test performed Monday-Friday

Specimen: Duodenal aspirate

Minimum Volume: 2 ml

Container: Clean, leak-proof container
