MCHD's efforts to protect and prepare the community extend to a variety of arenas. Staff members attend trainings, conferences and workshops throughout Texas and the U.S. so they remain up-to-date about all the latest developments in the field of emergency public health preparedness.

MCHD staff members take their knowledge back to Montgomery County, speaking at community meetings, hosting events and partnering with other county agencies to make the county a safer place.
