Brobey, Reynolds

Reynolds Brobey has been involved in infectious diseases research since 1991 and during his Ph.D. program in Japan, he researched into filariasis and deeply involved in malaria, developing novel ways to overcome drug resistance that was increasingly becoming a menace to malaria control effort. His research at UTMB began at the laboratory of Dr Vinetz, focusing on studying the molecular interaction and later on joined Dr Soong's laboratory to develop proteomics methods and molecular stragegy to study stage-regulated Leishmania proteins. Research Project: Proteomics Approach to Identify Stage-regulated Leishmania Proteins.
