Chua, Pong Kian

Pong Kian Chua has 10 years of research experience, starting first as an undergraduate student assistant in reproductive biology, and then as a graduate research assistant researching on the epidemiology of GB virus C/hepatitis G virus in HIV-1 patients and Kawasaki Disease in children. As a post-doctoral fellow, he is researching on the molecular virology of hepatitis B virus. Through the years, he has published 12 papers in peer-reviews journals, including 4 first-author papers. Research Project: Dissecting Core-Envelope Interaction of Human Hepatitis B Virus.
