Huang, Cheng

Cheng Huang studied the pathogenesis and virus-host interaction of mouse parainfluenza virus under the supervision of professor Yoshida in Japan. He obtained his Ph.D. in Hiroshima University and joined Dr Makino's lab as a postdoctoral fellow and initially worked on biological function of murine coronavirus nonstructural protein. At present, his research is focused on studying the pathogenesis of SARS CoV as well as the function of SARS CoV accessory proteins, which leads to the present application. Research Project: Involvement of SARS Coronavirus 3a Protein in Host Innate Immune Response.
