Pinchuk, Iryna

Iryna's research interests are focused on understanding of role of the innate and specific gastrointestinal mucosal immune response to the pathogenic microorganisms and how this immune response can be modulated by the normal microflora. The purpose of her current training in Gastroenterology and Mucosal Immunology is the acquisition of the necessary skills, knowledge and application of that knowledge necessary to pursue a carrier as an independent researcher in an academic setting. Her ultimate goal is to became established as a NIH-supported research scientist. Rearch Project: MHC Class II+ Myofibroblasts in Staphylococcal Enterotoxigenic Diesease.
