Goals & Objectives
The objective of this course is to introduce students to the practice of Radiation Oncology in the community or academic setting and to provide clinical experience to expand upon skills learned in POM. The intended audiences for this course are students interested in gaining additional exposure to the practice of medicine, especially those students with an interest in additional experience in Radiation Oncology.

Description of course activities
Students will be paired with a practitioner in the program who best matches their interests and location preference. Students will accompany the practitioner in his/her daily activities that may include office-based patient care, hospital rounds, teaching conferences, meetings, and other activities. Students will be encouraged to become as actively involved in patient care activities as their level of training permits. Because these rotations are offered to students after Year 1, substantial physician supervision will be provided.
