The Mitchell Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases, hosted within the research facilities of UTMB, is home to anambitious and collaborative group of UTMB faculty dedicated to the discovery, testing, development, and application of new treatments for neurodegenerative disorders. Members of the Mitchell Center are committed to pursuing translational research with the ultimate goal of improved quality of life for patients affected by increasingly prevalent disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease and related neurodegenerative conditions.
