General
-
Admission of students into the Neuroscience Graduate Program shall be
contingent upon the person's qualifications and the availability of a
position in the Program.
-
All
admissions must conform to the requirements of the Graduate School of
Biomedical Sciences and the Basic Biomedical Science Curriculum and are
subject to the approval of the Graduate Dean, but the Program may add
additional requirements.
-
In order
to be competitive for Graduate Assistantships, applicants should have
their application form complete by mid-January and all supporting

term. Students may be permitted to start “early” (in the summer term)
before the beginning of the new academic year in the fall.

New
applications will be reviewed and acted upon in a cooperative process
between the Basic Biomedical Sciences Curriculum and the Neuroscience
Graduate Program.. This procedure will not apply to M.D.-Ph.D. students
who will be processed according to the admissions procedures of the
M.D.-Ph.D. Program.
