Medicare fraud can wreak havoc in the lives of seniors and their families. For those curious about the kinds of Medicare and Medicaid fraud happening in the Houston-Galveston area and how to avoid becoming a victim, the new UTMB Sealy Center on Aging Learning Center will host a discussion “Medicare Fraud: I’m not a target, am I?” at 10 a.m. Tues., May 20. The center is in Room 1.612A, UTMB Primary Care Pavilion, 400 Harborside Drive, Galveston, Entrance A. The event is open to the public at no charge but reservations are required due to limited seating. Call 409-771-3044 before May 16 to reserve a spot. This will be the first in a series of Medicare Moments discussions to be held at the learning center.
