Health and Your Community: Deweyville Health Clinic: part of the community and here to stay

Orange County News, Nov. 8, 2006 http://www.theorangecountynews.com/news/2006/1108/Local_news/025.html Whether you have the sniffles, allergies or a cough, William Dunn Jr. and the staff at Deweyville Rural Health Clinic can help. The clinic had opened and closed three times before Dunn took it over on Sept. 20, 2004. Born in Mauriceville, this hometown boy left to work for a defense department contractor overseas. But an injury sent him back to Texas and now he doesn't plan to leave. He attended the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Nursing. He went on to get his masters of nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, also from UTMB. He has worked for a doctor in Orange and another clinic in Southeast Texas.
