Bio lab earns $5M in funding

The University of Texas Medical Branch’s National Biocontainment Training Center has received a $5 million boost in federal funding support. The funding, contained in the Department of Defense appropriations bill, was signed into law by the president Monday. The medical branch is a nationally recognized leader in biocontainment training.
