Being a health care worker takes desire, commitment

Galveston County Daily News, July 6, 2010

If you are past high school age (or even, maybe, past middle age), there still are many career opportunities in the health care field — as long as you have that much-needed desire and determination, write UTMB’s Dr. Michael Warren in his It’s Your Health column. “For instance, some schools offer programs for students who must seek a part-time education; completing the program takes longer and might be more challenging for students trying to juggle jobs, families, studies and various other demands on their time.
