The annual concert to benefit St. Vincent's Clinic will be held at 7 p.m. on March 13, at the Grand 1894 Opera House in Galveston. This highly anticipated and entertaining fundraiser directly benefits St. Vincent’s Student Clinic, a UTMB student-run free clinic that serves the uninsured and underserved people of Galveston County.

The concert is the only annual fundraiser for the clinic, which is the primary care provider for more than 2,000 uninsured people in the Galveston area — folks who, without St. Vincent’s, would have no way to see a doctor. Buying tickets to the concert is a great way to help your Galveston neighbors in need.

The St. Vincent’s student-run free clinic is managed entirely by volunteers — medical, nursing and physician assistant students, as well as faculty physicians who volunteer and see every patient.

Space for the clinic and administrative support is graciously provided by the St. Vincent’s House, and the concert venue rental is provided by the UTMB Office of the President. This means that all proceeds from the concert go directly to patient care and will be used to buy medications, purchase supplies and help patients get needed imaging.

Tickets can be purchased for $10 on the evening of the event, or early for $7.50 online at www.stvsc.org (click on “concert”).

If you can’t make the concert, please support the clinic by clicking on “donate” at  www.stvsc.org or mailing a check to St. Vincent’s Student-Run Free Clinic, 2817 Post Office, Galveston, TX 77550.
