For visiting investigators working at the NRCC, animal costs are included in
their Facility Use charges.

Tissue dissection is billed at $50.00 per hour plus specimen cost, minimum 1/2 hour
charge.

Packing & Shipping Charges:
Shipments are generally sent by Federal Express Priority Overnight Service with
delivery by 10 AM. Shipping costs are billed to the recipient's air freight account
number. Shipping arrangements via other carriers can be made. A standard
$15.00 packing charge per box entails all packing materials and labor. From 1 to 40
squid or cuttlefish can be shipped per box depending on species and size. Feel
free to contact us for more specific information on shipping logistics of
animals the size you require.
