Family Practice Fellowship Program

The Austin Medical Education Programs Obstetrics fellowship is intended for practitioners who have finished a family practice or internal medicine residency and who desire additional, more complex training in obstetrics.

Fellows are encouraged to participate in resident education, conferences and scientific presentations. Duties will also include taking in-hospital night and weekend calls on a rotating basis.

This training enables the physician to better meet the needs of the small or medium size community that may not have access to obstetric specialty physicians.
