Connie Perren, M.Ed., CPT

Connie Perren has a Masters degree in Education and a baccalaureate degree in mathematics. She received her certification in Human Performance Technology in 2003 from the International Society of Performance Improvement, the designation is Certified Performance Technologist (CPT). She is also a certified Green Belt in the Six Sigma process improvement methodology. She is the administrative director of the Standardized Patient Program. She works with the SP Staff, the Medical Director and Program Directors in the School of Medicine to deliver quality student experiences which meet the goals of the School of Medicine and curriculum objectives. Her areas of interest in addition to standardized patients include improving the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes and procedures so that the outcomes continually meet or exceed expectations and the outcomes are repeatable. She has worked in change management, process improvement and human performance improvement for over 15 years in academia and corporate business.
