Investigative activities and problem-solving endeavors in fields such as biotechnology, bioengineering, nanotechnology and health sciences stimulate increased knowledge and skills in science, engineering, technology and math!
Participants will utilize sophisticated, state-of-the-art methods and equipment during problem-based activities. Techniques may include:
- Restriction Endonuclease Digestion
- PCR (polymerase chain reaction)/Gel electrophoresis/DNA fingerprinting
- Bacterial transformation
- Western blotting
- And other STEM-related activities!!
Participants will complete an independent collaborative investigation during the last two weeks of the program utilizing laboratory skills they have acquired.

You must complete and submit the online application, as well as the supporting documentation, by 5:00:00 PM Monday, April 09, 2012.
The supporting documentation includes the Participation Agreement, Parental Consent Form, Teacher Recommendation Forms, Transcript Release Form, and an official copy of your transcript.
Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Approximately 4 weeks after the application deadline, following committee review of the completed applications and required documentation, notification of status will be e-mailed to the applicant’s reported e-mail address. Please note that STEM Quest Summer Camp
