The Thayer Teaching Award for Residents
Now Accepting Nominations — due by 5 p.m. January 31, 2007
The Thayer Teaching Award is given to a resident who demonstrates sound scientific knowledge, compassion towards patients, and dedication to learning and teaching, and is given several times each year.
Nominations can be made by any medical student. Letters of nomination should follow the format below and may be submitted to Rosemary Lindley via email ( rmlindle@utmb.edu ) or hand-delivery (2.210 Ashbel Smith Bldg). Every other month, a resident will be chosen to be invited to join the Osler Club meeting for dinner where he or she will be named, congratulated, and given a monetary award. Osler Club meetings are open to the public – so please join us to celebrate our UTMB residents.
If entry is past this due date, candidate will be considered for the following Thayer Teaching Award.
