Practice of Medicine 1 Essay Award in Oslerian Medicine

Essays written for the Practice of Medicine 1 course which are outstanding in style, structure and clarity and in the humane, compassionate attitude toward patient care. The award criteria have recently expanded to include a stipend for the home visit as well as the professionalism essays.

The 2009 recipient is Eseosa Eguae for her professionalism essay (no recipient was chosen for the home visit essays due to Hurricane Ike).

The recipient is honored during the annual Osler Oration.
