Michael Briscoe, MD

Dr. Briscoe graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans, and earned his M.D. degree at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. As a medical student, Michael received the Arthur V. Simmang Scholarship, Mclaughlin Research Grant, and Merck Student Award. His hobbies include cooking, backgammon, and ultimate frisbee.

Ki-Hong (Kevin) Ho, MD

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Dr. Ho moved to the United States and pursued his undergraduate studies in Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins. He attended medical school at the University of California, Irvine where he worked with Dr. Brian Wong on cartilage engineering research. His work on electromechanical cartilage reshaping has been published in the Laryngoscope and presented at the Triological Society and AAO-HNS meetings. |

Chad M. Simon, MD

Dr. Simon graduated from The University of Southwestern Louisiana, then attended the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. He received Junior AOA honors during medical school. His hobbies include woodworking, landscaping, oil painitng, and cajun cooking. |

Ryan Ridley, MD

Dr. Ridley is a proud graduate of Howard University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. As an undergraduate, Ryan conducted research at top institutions including the University of California, Berkeley and the University of Washington in Seattle where his work was published in the Journal of Undergraduate Research in Engineering. Other undergraduate honors include memberships in Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society and the Golden Key International Honor Society. Ryan is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., Beta Chapter. Dr. Ridley earned his medical degree from UTMB in June of 2006. In May of 2006, Ryan’s research article regarding tracheo-innominate fistula was published in the Journal of Laryngology and Otology. Outside of medicine, Ryan is an avid fitness and health enthusiast who enjoys traveling. Despite the rigors of medicine, Ryan still has not given up his cartoon watching or his video games. |

David M. Gleinser, MD

Dr. Gleinser was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from St. Mary's University in San Antonio with a BS in Chemistry. He then attended Texas Tech University Health Science Center School of Medicine where he was invited to join the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.He received his MD in May of 2007. His hobbies include computers, sports, video games and fitness. |

Francisco (Frank) G. Pernas, MD

M.D., May 2006, University of Miami, Miami, Florida
Dr. Pernas was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Upon graduating from the University of Miami School of Medicine in 2006, he completed a one year clinical research fellowship at the National Institute on Deafness and other Communication Disorders. While at the NIH, Dr. Pernas investigated and identified key biomolecular predictors of response to an EGFR inhibitor in head and neck cancer cell lines and tumor specimens from a clinical trial. His personal hobbies include health and fitness, outdoor activities and fishing. |
