Selective Neck Dissection - Indication
Lateral neck dissection indicated in SCCA larynx, oropharynx, and hypopharynx for N0 and selected N1 cases.
- Lateral neck dissection indicated in SCCA larynx, oropharynx, and hypopharynx for N0 and selected N1 cases. (Shah recommends Level I-IV for oropharyngeal SCCA). (1, 3)
- Adjuvant radiation must be given to patients with more than 2-4 positive nodes or evidence of extracapsular spread. (1)
