Digastric Muscle
Originates from groove in mastoid process called digastric ridge.
Only structure superficial to the post. Belly of digastric muscle preserved is marginal mandibular nerve. (2)
Muscle lies directly superficial to branches of ECA, hypoglossal nerve, ICA, IJV, and 11th nerve.
