Temporalis Transfer
First described by Gillies in 1934
Used mostly for the corner of mouth, but can be used for eye
Vertical or extended facelift incision
Identify the superficial layer of deep temporal fascia
Outline and incise middle 1/3 rd of muscle
Dissect off bone, nerve enters medial at the level of arch, pass through subcutaneous tunnel, suture to orbicularis muscle
