The Office of University Advancement is a service department. That’s important, and something we remember every day. We are here to serve the needs of the institution. We are here to serve the public. We are here to serve our own UTMB community. We work with faculty, staff and students to turn dreams into reality. We are driven by the excellence that exists at our university. The news we broadcast is your news. The dollars we raise support your programs, and we’re able to raise them because of your work. The volunteers and alumni we court and serve generously devote their time back to UTMB, to our institution. 

Our success is built upon the success of our clinicians, researchers, educators and support people, working each day—and night—to advance the university’s mission of excellence in health. For the reasons outlined above, our success is heavily dependent on you, on collaboration and partnership. We have a good team of professionals, a team deeply dedicated to our institution and to working with you to advance our shared cause.
