Internet Communications
The group: • Build and maintains UTMB’s institutional web gateways (the main public pages and iUTMB); • Partners with Information Services (IS) to manage and offer web hosting services from UTMB’s main institutional web servers; • Partners with IS, Facilities Operations & Management, and others to offer institutional applications and resources such as the Campus Online Directory and Online Map; • Works with IS, Academic Resources and Office of Community Outreach to support web developers and web development activity on the UTMB campus; • Tracks web traffic and trends; • Is responsible for the creation and implementation of UTMB’s web identity standards, and works of behalf of the Web Advisory Board to maintain UTMB’s Internet publishing guidelines; • Maintains responsibility (and partners with IS) for several campus communication venues, including the daily announcements, campus monitors system and iUTMB; • Creates and is responsible for a large number of institutional, overarching campus web sites. Internet Communications group. Staff strives to serve with efficiency,
courtesy and speed, and works to build web resources that are innovative and
