President's Cabinet

The President's CabinetFormed in 1994, the President’s Cabinet is a unique and distinctive organization, dedicated to helping advance the mission of one of the country’s oldest, largest and most dynamic academic health centers. Members include alumni, faculty, staff and university friends, as well as business and community leaders.

The goals of the President's Cabinet are:

• To increase discretionary funding for emerging UTMB priorities, allowing the university to capitalize on new opportunities and meet unexpected challenges

• To provide a vehicle for UTMB and the community to become more interactive with health care programs

Annual contributions of President's Cabinet members--at least $1,000 for individuals and $5,000 for corporation, foundations or other organizations--are used to support exceptional UTMB programs and cutting-edge research through President's Cabinet Awards.
