Publications
As
part of the Public Affairs team, the UTMB publications group helps ensure a
positive public image for the university by promoting quality in design,
writing and printing. Contrary to the nicknames “Logo Cops” and “Grammar
Police,” the publications staff is actually quite nice—and none of us carry
nightsticks. We’re responsible for the required institutional review of
promotional materials for schools, departments and programs; for producing
numerous institution-wide publications and communications tools, including
UTMB Magazine and
Impact; and for advising campus departments on the UTMB
identity system, editorial matters, and print design and production issues.
