2014 OVS residents announced

UTMB Health Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences welcomes the following students to join the ophthalmology residency program for 2014:
- Fuad Makkouk, UTMB Galveston School of Medicine
- Orry Birdsong, UTMB Galveston School of Medicine
- Chia-Kai Chu, Baylor College of Medicine
- Yusra Siddiqui, UT Houston School of Medicine
Dr. Misha Syed, OVS residency program director said, "These doctors-in-training were selected from a large pool of highly qualified applicants. We welcome them to our program, where they will benefit from training in excellent patient care, vision-saving research, community service, and leadership skills to guide them as the next generation of ophthalmologists."
